our history units or 'keys'

Further to the success we had with our geography keys, schools asked us to provide primary history resources too. This we’ve done with the support of Mr T Does History!

Again, the intention is for a school to progress through the keys to build their knowledge, and cover all the skills included within the National Curriculum for history by the end of Key Stage 2. Each key is, as always, available to purchase individually.

You can see the whole school plan, as well as our progression and assessment documents here.

We are also able to create bespoke units to suit individual school’s needs. Click here for more details.

Example B and C Educational KS1 and KS2 history 'Keys'

Following the National Curriculum, the units will help children to understand historical concepts, such as continuity and change, cause and consequence, similarity, difference and significance.

Furthermore, they will be able to use the details within the units to make connections, draw contrasts, analyse trends, frame historically-valid questions and create their own structured accounts, including written narratives and analyses.
