authentic African artefacts

The Gambia is a small, vibrant and colourful country in West Africa, facing all the issues of modern Africa.

These authentic resources provide an insight into life there and its landscape, that will help children develop “… a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people…” (Primary National Curriculum 2014).

They will specifically help children “…understand geographical similarities and differences through studying the human and physical geography of a small area in a non-European country.” (Geography Primary National Curriculum 2014).

They're fantastic resources to use alongside our KS1 Serrekunda Key.
